Floweres for Algernon

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you much smarter would you do it,especially if you knew the effects of the surgery would only be temporary? why or why not?use examples from the story

If i was giving the choice to have an operation to make me smarter i wouldn't do it because if is only going to be for a certain amount of time than why should i get it if your only going to be smart for a little time and then is going to go away and your going to end up being the same as before and i rather stay the way i am than change it. and even thougth you could be smart for at least a little amount of time i still wouldnt want to get it because then your going to end up the same as before and probably the peope would say or weird or stuff becuase you wore smart and then you became the person you wore before.
and it would be a waste of time only having an operation that wares of and it would be better if your just your self if you know how to read and write and do other things why would you want to be smarter if you could understand the the things that you need to understand then you should be alright with knowing those things and not waste your time being something you wore never ment to be.
